I was a little disappointed with the customization, haha. I thought I’d be able to change more parts of the book, but a lot of it felt pretty much already decided. The options were kind of limited and didn’t feel super flexible. For the price, I was hoping it would feel a bit more personal. It’s not terrible, just not really what I was expecting.

I liked the idea of it, but using it felt a bit clunky. I thought it’d be easier than it was, and support took a while to get back to me. Might be fine for other people, but I wasn’t really happy with it

I really liked the idea of this book when we first got it, and the inside is cute. But after only a couple of weeks, the cover started looking rough. The corners began peeling even though we haven’t used it a ton or tossed it around. For the price, I expected it to hold up at least a little longer. It’s sweet on the inside, but the cover makes it feel cheaper than I hoped

I really liked the idea of making a baby book this way, and to be fair, it did help me capture a few memories I probably would’ve forgotten or skipped otherwise. The process was easy enough and the final book is cute.

That said, I’d warn other parents to manage expectations, especially for the price. When it arrived, it just didn’t feel as special or high-quality as I was hoping. It’s nice, but not the kind of keepsake that made me emotional or excited to show everyone.

Maybe I built it up too much in my head, but I don’t really see myself pulling this out years from now and feeling amazed by it. It’s not terrible at all, just more plain and underwhelming than I expected.

I did eventually get my refund, but it took longer than I thought it would. Support did reply, so I’ll give them that, but the responses were slow. The most annoying part was having to verify my information more than once, which felt unnecessary and just dragged the whole thing out.

The paper feels really nice to write on, like it has a good smooth feel to it. I like it, I do, but I just wish the pages were a little thicker. They’re not bad at all, just a bit thinner than I was hoping for.

I really like the idea behind these books, and the website was easy to use. The finished book does feel nice, but for what I paid, I expected more. Everything like this always ends up costing more than you think once shipping gets added, and that made it feel even pricier. It’s not bad by any means, but I probably wouldn’t order again unless the price came down or there was a really good deal.

I feel stupid for trusting them to help me sort things out. Every time I contacted support, they gave vague answers and never explained anything clearly enough. I kept thinking it would make sense eventually, but I just ended up more confused and frustrated.

I’ve been using these prompts for a bit and they’ve been super helpful. They gave me a bunch of ideas I wouldnt have thought of on my own, and made it way easier to get started when I was stuck.

I really wanted to like the site, but the design feels dated. Some sections look clean enough, but then other parts are crowded, uneven, and not lined up very well. The colors and fonts are fine, I guess, but nothing really makes it feel polished. I also found some of the wording a bit misleading, like it made things sound clearer or more impressive than they actually were once I clicked around. It’s still usable, but not exactly pleasant to look at. A simpler layout and more straightforward wording would make a big difference...

I tried uploading pictures for my book, but it kept freezing on me. I ended up having to redo everything twice and... yeah, at that point I just gave up. Really frustrating experience

My order from theshortyearsbooks showed up today, and I was really happy with how everything was packed. The books were wrapped snugly, with no bent corners or random scratches, which is something I always worry about when ordering books online. The box was a good size too, so nothing was really sliding around in there. It just felt like someone actually took a little care when packing it. Simple thing, but it really makes a difference

I had an issue with my order and reaching support was frustrating. They took forever to respond, and when they finally did, it was at such a bad time and still didn’t really fix anything. I’m still waiting for a proper solution, and at this point I’m just really disappointed.

The app crashes a loooot and the pages take foreverrrr to load. It gets really frustrating when I’m just trying to use it normally.

I used it on my phone and it was really easy to navigate. Everything worked smoothly, so I’d definitely use it again next time.

It worked fine overall, so no major complaints there. The only thing that bugged me was the checkout process, it felt kind of clunky and took more effort than I expected. Weirdly, I remember there was one button that looked almost the same color as the background, and I kept second-guessing if I was supposed to click it. Other than that, everything was okay.

I really liked the milestone tracking because it helped me keep track of all the small things I probably would’ve forgotten otherwise. That part made me feel more organized and less stressed. But it did feel a bit slow to update sometimes, which was frustrating when I just wanted everything to feel quick and easy. Overall, it’s a nice idea and definitely useful, just not quite as smooth as I was hoping.
